family tree

This 4th of July most of my Mom's side of the family is gathering in the desert garden (ha) of Bakersfield, California to celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday. We are all so excited to be together and congratulate Nana for 80 long years. I designed a family tree to show her just how much Grandpa and her have accomplished in the last 62 of their marriage. She has 4 children, 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren (and I know at least 3 of us are pregnant and maybe MORE!) So I made the great grandchildren with labels so we can keep on adding to it! We are going to have a great time!

So thoughtful, and bored...
Thanks for doing this. How about putting my name on it with you? Just kidding! Now that I have seen what you did, I'm going to do an even BIGGER one! Then who will look like the best granddaughter?

ohhhh too bad I know you. You might make something bigger and better, she won't get it for at least 5 years.

*Julie is in the process of making us a quilt for our wedding- but her friends kids come before us in the quilt list. messed up? of course! and now we will demand a baby(ies) quilt on top of that! Will she ever catch up?

That is so cute! I want to do something like that.... You're so creative. I think I am, but I guess I just don't apply myself?!? hahaha. Oh and I have a quilt that my grandma is making me for my wedding [over a year ago] but I don't think she has finished it..... But she DID break her wrist in 3 places and has bolts and screws in it, so I guess she has a good reason.... lol.

ohhh maybe Julie has bolts, that is a valid excuse for sure! do you have bolts Jules?

Super cute idea! My grandpa's 80th bday party is next weekend, in MT and since I'm homebound and huge prego I can't go :( I'm so impressed with your graphic design, it makes me wish I would have paid more attention in Comm 130!

yes you are the only mormon in the world who hasn't read it!!! That family tree is amazing! You could post it on etsy and sell them like crazy! You could charge a ton for them too! I bet people would eat them up. oh you is crafty!!!
