update

i have no idea when it's too much...
i went to the doctor today and i want to shout it from the rooftop what's happening in the progression of our pregnancy- but at the same time, do people want to hear about centimeters, effacing, dilating, induction (he isn't going to induce us till december 29th.. so we're hoping it doesn't come to that!) ect? I just don't know.

all i can say i guess is that i am happy things are progressing... she's moving in the right direction. Today little Daphne is FULL TERM! She weighs aprx. 6.4 pounds and is over 19 inches long.
It's the final countdown (Gob Bluth is my hero)

I was totally giggling at your Gob comment.

Da nuh NAH nuh...duh nuh NUH nuh nuh..

Get it? Whatever.

So my neighbor that just had twins was told each baby was 6 pounds and when she had them they were barely 4. BIG difference. I know Daphne's probably easier to measure than twins, but be grateful just in case she's needing the extra couple of weeks.

That sounded really lecture-y. Sorry. I'm excited for her to come!

Enjoy your sleep while you can, but I'm sll for her coming before Jan 1st so you can get your child tax credit, cha-ching!
I so love Arrested Development, wish they would being it back, but I do enjoy seeing Gob on his 30 Rock cameos!
Keep us posted, and I want to know all about your dilation/effacement if your up for sharing!

I would be surprised if she is that big! Sid was 8 days early (and I was a lot fatter than you are) and he was 6 12oz--the doctors were predicting during labor that the baby was around 9 pounds!

It could be any day now, but just so you know--I was dilated to a 3-3 1/2 for 3 weeks WITH THE TWINS. Yes, that was a fun 3 weeks. But this isn't my blog, so I'll stop there.

Good luck, and try not to go mad with anticipation. You too Nic.

the dr. didn't say she was that big everyone.. it is just the email thing we get every week that tracks baby's development.. so who knows what Daphne is like! we'll see soon (i hope) and i am well aware you can be dilated for a long time... but, i can still be excited about it :)

Hooray! This is very exciting. She is going to be one cute baby.

And you are the nicest girl ever to leave that comment on my blog. I might just have to print it out and frame it for my bad days.

Keep us posted with all the details. (By the way, I've very impressed you did the castor oil. I've never had the gumption to try that one.) We need lots and lots of details.
