what i wish i was doing....
sleeping. its midnight and i had a frustrating night of not completing a project for our design and color class that is due on monday. what am i doing instead? HAVING HEARTBURN. this has never happened to me before and I am really bitter. this is especially awful because i can only take tums (which we don't have) and there is not one store open in rexburg at this hour though nic is completely willing to go buy me some relief. Oh Daphne, you better be cute.

Pregnancy was the only time, the ONLY TIME I ever appreciated having a long waist. Because even with the twins and even 72 lbs later, I never had heartburn while pregnant. I have, however had it while NOT pregnant (?) and it is of the devil. So I am sorry you are thusly afflicted. And she will be cute....just not right away. heh heh.
You have never had heart burn before?!?! Oh girl... haha I wish I was so lucky... dont worry, you will get used to it. and you are CRAZY if you are worried she wont be cute!
Okay, sweet pea, all I gotsta say is, seriously my FIRST thought post-labor was HURRAY NO MORE HEARTBURN!!! And then I sent Derek out for the biggest McDonald's meal he could find, so I could eat it ALL with NO heartburn. Us shorties with biggies (babies, that is) need to band together. It's all about the peppermint Ultra Tums. I've still got my left oves economy size in my medecine cabinet, lurking ominously.
You should have called and grabbed some of our pepcid ac, EVEN in the middle of the night!!! I've had heartburn since month four, and yes, I have a long waist. No, I had never had heartburn before being pregnant. There are no absolutes in pregnancy. It's a merciless time of nonsensical suffering. OK on a brighter note, pepcid ac does the trick for me, at least so far!! :) Our girls are worth it

Hey, I got heart burn really bad too-I asked my doctor about it and she was able to give me a perscription for prevacid-I think? And it made a huge difference for me. You should ask your doc. I had tried everything over the counter and was pretty desperate.
